At Pointe of Nature Cabins we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.
Pointe of Nature Cabins may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
Advanced reservations are preferred. We do accept same day and one day reservations, but only if you contact us directly and there is availability. You will need to have a confirmation number. You can get this by calling or texting first at 614-369-2012.
All guests must be at least twenty-one years of age. Children are welcome in the Ridgeview cabin but must be accompanied at all times by at least one parent or guardian. There is no Children allowed in the Greenbriar Cabin.
Full payment is due at the time of reservation. We accept all major credit cards. If you wish to pay by money order and/or a cashier’s check, they must be sent ten days prior to your stay. Please call to reserve your cabin. You can send those to Sydian Properties, PO Box 201, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
Lodging and state sales taxes are additional. A conformation email will be emailed to you after we’ve received full payment. Please do not make your reservation until you are able to pay for the reservation in full at time of booking.
Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
A 90 day notice is required to receive 80% if booked through this site.
A less than 90 day notice will not receive any refunds.
Daily housekeeping service during your stay is not provided. Our rates do not include a cleaning fee, so guests are expected to leave their cabin in the condition it was rented. Additional fee will be charged if cabin is left unclean. Please leave cabin as it was when you arrived.
Arrival can be any time after 4:00 pm. A combination lockbox containing the keys is mounted next to the door. A confirmation email containing the key lockbox code will be sent to you prior to your arrival. Although we work quickly to have your cabin ready for you by 4:00 pm, occasionally there might be situations that require additional cleaning or repair, such as a hot tub that may not be at its proper temperature until later that evening. There is no refund in these situations.
Check-out must be completed by 11am. Room keys can be left on the table or placed back in the lockbox. When keys are placed back in the lockbox, please turn the numbered dials off of the unlock code to securely lock the box.
Holidays are charged at peak rates and require a 2-night stay. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday are considered weekends.)
Holidays that fall on a Monday will require a three-night minimum stay (Fri-Sat-Sun).
Overnight stays on the evening prior to any of the following holidays are also subject to peak rates: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day and Fourth of July. Additionally, the entire week between Christmas and New Year’s Day is subject to our peak rates.
Pets are allowed, however, there will be a $30 per pet fee for all pets that are quiet, well-mannered and house trained.
Smoking is forbidden inside the cabins. If you need to smoke, you are welcome to smoke outside or on the deck. Ashtrays are provided. Please do not dispose buds anywhere except ashtrays. This is a safety concern for everyone.
Pointe of Nature reserves the right to refuse service for many reasons, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: intentional destruction of property (inside and outside), vandalism, theft of property, excessive littering, improper use of living space, poor upkeep, etc. Upon leaving the premises, the cabin and property must be returned to its original condition prior to occupancy.
The renter is responsible for ALL damages accrued during occupancy. Should damages be severe, renter will be charged with any additional fees, up to and including legal fees, in the event that mediation and reparation becomes necessary. The renter gives Pointe of Nature owners the right to investigate, inspect and approve of the condition of the cabin prior to departure.
Guests are NOT permitted to invite other guests to their cabin. Only paid guests are allowed on our properties.
There is to be absolutely no discharging of firearms on or around our properties. This includes BB/pellet, Airsoft and paintball guns.
Occasionally appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc. can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can. However, we will not make any rental concessions for time without these items. Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are sometimes not up to full temperature at the time of your arrival and may need several hours to heat. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency.
Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other “Acts of God” that are outside of our control will also not result in a refund on any monies paid.
Left Behind Items
Please check the cabin prior to departure to ensure you have all personal items with you. Any personal items left in a cabin after your departure will not automatically be returned to you.
If you have discovered that you have left something behind, you will need to call us and let us know how you wish for us to ship the item(s) to you.
You are responsible for any and all shipping charges.
Use of the Hot Tubs
Our hot tubs are cleaned and sanitized after each stay. Hot tub usage guidelines can be found in a guest binder located in each cabin. We absolutely DO NOT allow guests to add soaps, dyes, fragrances or bubbles to the water. Doing so will result in any damage charges or water change fees as necessary.
